You’ll start by admiring the famous Koutoubia tower, Marrakech’s largest mosque, with its 70-metre-high minaret. The tower is a fine example of Hispano-Moorish art. Continue on to the Bahia Palace, surrounded by magnificent gardens brimming with fruit trees and fragrant flowers. After the Bahia Palace, you’ll head for the Saadian tombs, with their cedar domes and marble columns.

Then on to the Medersa ben Youssef, a former Koranic school named after Sultan Ali ibn Yusuf, an influential figure in the city’s development. The building, which once housed one of the largest Koranic schools in North Africa, accommodating up to 900 students, has been renovated and reopened to the public as a historic site.

On the way, stroll through the labyrinth of narrow streets in the medina and visit the famous souks with their eclectic range of products, from leather to clothes and spices. Morocco’s most famous souks, where you can mingle with the daily hustle and bustle.

This mountain range offers beautiful, varied scenery and views of numerous small, tiered villages. We then take the road through the Berber villages of the Atlas to Ait Benhaddou, arriving at ksar Aït Benhaddou and visiting the most beautiful fortified village in the region. Then on to the Dades valley to reach the Skoura palm grove, some 40 km from Ouarzazate. Visit the beautiful Skoura palm grove, with its douar and kasbahs such as Amerdihil, then transfer to the hotel in the heart of the palm grove.
