Enjoy your trip to Iceland ! Enjoy the warm atmosphere of the city, with its museums, stores, restaurants and monuments such as the Harpa Congress Centre on the harbour, or the Hallgrímskirkja church. The direct shuttle bus from Keflavik airport will take you to your hotel in Reykjavik. (A private transfer can be arranged, or you can pick up your vehicle if your arrival time permits).
Pick up your rental car. Heading south. Visit Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site of historical and geological importance, the geyser and hot springs of Strokkur, Iceland’s most active geyser, and the two Gullfoss waterfalls.
On the way to the south coast, you’ll pass through rural areas and farms, one of which is famous for the Njal’s saga. Take a tour of the LAVA Center to learn more about volcanoes. Pass by the Seljalandsfoss waterfalls, which you can cross if you’re brave enough! Visit the Skógar Folk Museum, and admire the black sand beaches and high cliffs along the way, before heading to the village of Vík for the night.
Continue your trip to Iceland and enjoy the panorama of this glacier on one of the many hikes offered from Skaftafell Park. Marvel at the icebergs floating on the lagoon of the Jökulsárlón glacier

The choice is yours: go whale-watching from the port of Húsavík (limited in winter), or discover the canyons, rock formations and waterfalls of the northern part of Vatnajökull National Park. Or, set off to discover Lake Mývatn and its landscapes, its very diverse flora and fauna, its lava formations, and the natural baths emanating their vapors for a moment of relaxation !

For this 6th day of trip to Iceland it is the so-called Goðafoss waterfall that you will come across on your way to Akureyri and which offers incredible baths, geothermal swimming pools, parks and museums. Then take a tour of the Skagafjörður district, famous for its horse farms. Visit the Glaumbær eco-museum and the ancient church of Víðimýri, covered in heber – amazing!

Climb the ancient Grábrók crater, admire the Hraunfossar and Barnafossar waterfalls, the impressive Deildartunguhver hot spring, historic Reykholt and the decision-making center of Borgarnes before returning to Reykjavík.
