Day 1: Arrival in Bastia

Arriving in Bastia, you will take possession of your rental car for the duration of your stay on the island of beauty.

You’ll be able to visit the capital of Haute-Corse right from the start!

Days 2 and 3: Saint-Florent

Departure for Cap Corse, one of the island’s micro-regions. You’ll pass through the gates to the pretty town of Saint Florent, just a few kilometers away. You can tour Cape Town during the day before arriving at your next stop.

Settling in for 2 nights in Saint-Florent. As the island’s second-largest marina, the town has plenty to offer.

Things to see and do :

Visit the citadel, from where you’ll have an unobstructed view of the entire Gulf; the Agriates desert; diving in the crystal-clear waters; discovering the many beaches; the Patrimonio wine route, etc…

Days 4 and 5: Calvi

Passage through Ile Rousse before reaching Calvi, 1h30 from Saint-Florent. Along the way, you’ll discover atypical Balinese villages such as Pigna and Corbara.

Arrive in Calvi, capital of the Balagne region, and take a seat in front of the port, where you’ll find numerous small bars and restaurants with a festive atmosphere. Just behind, a parallel street with lots of little stores for shopping and buying local produce.

What to see: Climb to Notre Dame de la Serra for a panoramic view of the Bay of Calvi.

Day 6: Porto

Natural landscapes are always exceptional on this Mediterranean coast! You’ll also find the beautiful Calanques de Piana, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Another not-to-be-missed stop in the area, also a UNESCO site, is the Scandola nature reserve! The village of Porto is more of a marina oriented towards river tourism.

What to do: Don’t miss the boat trip to discover the Scandola nature reserve and the surprising village of Girolata.

Day 7 and 8: Ajaccio

The “cradle” of Napoleon, the town of Ajaccio is a pleasant stopover. Stroll through its narrow streets, visit the Fesch Museum and the Napoleon Bonaparte House, laze on the beach, hike to the Sanguinaires Islands… a busy stage!

What to see / What to do :

A guided bike ride; learn about Ajaccio’s history; visit its museums: the Fesh Museum and the Maison Bonaparte; the A Cupulatta turtle-breeding park; the Sanguinaires islands, etc…

Day 9: Propriano

Head further south to the pleasant seaside resort of Propriano. From here, you can discover “the most Corsican of Corsican towns” according to Mérimée: Sartène!

Days 10 and 11: Bonifacio

Off to the far south of Corsica! The region is renowned for its renowned beaches. Bonifacio was built on a limestone cliff over 1,500 meters long and around 100 meters wide. To discover the city, you don’t have to be afraid of walking!

Things to see and do :

The beaches of Palombaggia, Rondinara, Santa Giulia; the marine cemetery; the sea caves; the escamier du Roy d’Aragon; visit Porto Vecchio; the Lavezzi islands;

Day 12: Corte

Located halfway between Bastia and Ajaccio, the town of Corte is full of character! A visit to the picturesque town is a must: Citadel, Corsican Museum, Belvedere…

Day 13: Bastia / return flight

Early departure to Bastia for your return flight to Paris. Remember to leave early to return your rental car.
