Day 1: Arrival in Amman

Welcome at Queen Alia airport, after visa formalities, transfer to hotel in Amman and overnight accommodation.

Day 2: Amman / Madaba / Mt. Nebo / King Higway / Dana / Petra

Breakfast at the hotel Road to Madaba. Visit Madaba (City of Mosaics), where you will see the unique map of the Holy Land in the church of St. George 6th C. AD.Madaba and its hinterland were mentioned several times in the Old Testament.

Then visit the shrine at Mount Nebo (burial place of the Prophet Moses), the place where Moses saw the holy land of Canaan. The first church on Mount Nebo was built at the end of the fourth century.Whether you approach Dana from the ancient Kings’ Highway to the east or from the Dead Sea to the west, the city’s striking skyline and fortified castle will make you understand instantly why the destinies of kings and nations were decided here.Start exploring Dana Nature Reserve with our local guide. Dana offers a vast diversity of landscapes; there are forested highlands, rocky slopes, sand dunes and stony deserts. Set off on a 2-3 hour hike accompanied by a guide. Late afternoon, arrival in Petra and overnight stay.

Day 3: Petra

Breakfast followed by a visit to the unique city of Petra, built by the Nabataeans, who carved their monumental tombs, palaces, temples and treasures out of the sandstone rock in its “natural shades of pink and gold”. Explore the spectacular treasures of Petra (The City of Nabatean), you’ll start your journey on horseback for 700m to the entrance of the impressive narrow Siqu Gorge, which leads wonderfully to the magical moment, when you catch a glimpse of The Treasure, as you make your way along the street of facades, Royal Tombs, Cardos, Temples, Churches, Museums, Monastery or High Sacrifice Square. Overnight at hotel in Petra.

Day 4: Petra / Wadi Rum

Breakfast, departure for Wadi Rum and the Moon Valley, meet the Bedouins in Wadi Rum (a desert guide, a cook responsible for preparing meals and setting up the temporary camp for the night, according to the planned itinerary), start immediately with a 4-hour hike, a picnic near Burda, then a 2-hour 4×4 excursion in the afternoon.

Day 5: Wadi Rum / Aqaba

Breakfast, transfer to the town of Aqaba. Today’s program: diving (optional)! Two are possible, at 10:00 am and the second at 2:00 pm. Each dive takes place in a different location, and you can explore the following: the wreck of the Cedar Pride or the Japanese Garden, the Gorgonian site. Most of the dive sites in Aqaba are famous! Lunch can be included after your first morning dive. Overnight at hotel in Aqaba.

Day 6: Aqaba

Breakfast and free day. Other activities are also available.

Day 7: Aqaba / Dead Sea

Breakfast, transfer to the lowest place on earth 398 meters below sea level; the Dead Sea for leisure and swimming. Enjoying the bizarre and delightful experience of floating “on the surface of the water, nine times saltier than sea water. The therapeutic waters of the Dead Sea, combined with the valley’s fertile soil and warm climate, have attracted people to the region since the Stone Age. Overnight near the Dead Sea.

Day 8: Dead Sea / Amman, Return flight to France

Breakfast, transfer to the airport before your return flight.
