Two regions of France that hold hands and share many landscapes: mountains, fertile plains, farmland, and a coastline loved by surfers!
During this tailor-made trip to the Basque Country and Béarn, we indulge in the mountainous hiking trails, between the sheep enclosures, we take a break in a contemporary rehabilitated refuge, we visit the villages with windows filled with chili peppers dried, and we invigorate ourselves from the salt air to the sound of the waves. And let’s not forget the unmissable heritage of its towns: Pau and its castle, the house museums, the churches in mountain villages like little jewels of our beloved rural France.
Enjoy your trip to the Basque Country and Béarn! Arrival in the capital of Béarn in the evening. You’ll take possession of your rental vehicle to begin your itinerant journey through the region.
You’ll spend the night in a charming guesthouse just outside Pau, in Jurançon, famous for its sweet wine of the same name! A small “château”, rather an estate with a private swimming pool and a lovely view of the lake and Pau in the distance.

Its location is conducive to a return to oneself in a place that’s totally open to the outside world: on one side the soaring Pyrenean mountain range, on the other the depths of the Ossau valley, alive to the rhythm of the seasons.
What to see / What to do :
Hiking enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice here, as there are numerous trails, but above all you’ll find the famous GR10, which crosses the Pyrenees from west to east.
