First stop on your trip to eastern Canada, the Falls region ! Toronto, capital of the province of Ontario, which opens its doors to you for 3 days. The city’s architecture clearly shows its proximity to the American border. Tall towers and wide roads criss-cross the city. Here, we’re more likely to speak English, and drink a coffee with pancakes or a doughnut at Tim Horton’s! Once again, you’ll never get bored, as the city is full of places to visit and neighborhoods to explore.
What to see / What to do :
Explore Toronto’s neighborhoods: the financial district, Kensington market, Korean village, Distillery district; the Toronto Aquarium; feel like you’re in mini-New York at Yonge-Dundas Square; climb to the top of the CN Tower; sail to Toronto Island and marvel at the Skyline; see a Blue Jays game.

They need no introduction… Niagara Falls. A water frontier between Canada and the United States, they are just 01h30 from Toronto. Here, big, neon, colorful signs, a theme park setting, and American steakhouses! Tick off one of the boxes on your bucket list as you go sailing at the foot of the falls.
If you can spare the time, take a detour to the village of Niagara on the Lake, and take a leap back in time to the 19th century!

Now, you are leaving the big city for the essential sites of your trip to Ontario, precisely in Outaouais. You’ll pick up your car at the airport on departure from Toronto. Come to Ottawa, capital of Canada, where you will discover: the parliament, the famous “Maman”, this contemporary sculpture representing a gigantic spider, the changing of the Guard of the Canadian Forces, the Museum of Fine Arts of Canada, the Rideau Canal.
What to see/Do :
On the way, stop in Kingston, this city is home to Fort Henry, a strategic point at the mouth of the Cataraqui River, which overlooks the entrance to the Thousand Islands: you will see all these islets of greenery which dot these waters of Ontario…
Now begins your trip to Quebec. Come to the busiest resort in the province, winter and summer ! Enjoy both the mountain and Tremblant village attractions: hiking, biking, kayaking on Lake Tremblant, golfing and fishing. Then take the panoramic gondola to the highest peak, the perfect way to enjoy the Laurentian landscape.
You’ll also find the typical colorful houses that dot the resort. Your accommodation is located at Lac Monroe in Parc du Mont Tremblant ! Here, you’ll enjoy a typical Québécois camper setting, in a ready-to-camp setting.
You’re leaving the Laurentians for the Mauricie region. The heart of eastern Canada, and its alluring and refreshing nature. You can drop off your suitcases in a charming, detached cottage ideally located at the foot of La Mauricie Park. With family or friends, take advantage of the lakes, rivers, waterfalls, cascades and hiking trails to discover this unspoilt natural area.
At sunset, set off to explore the Black Bear !
What to see/Do :
Observe local wildlife, including black bears, at the end of the day, accompanied by a naturalist guide. (Watch out for mosquitoes!)
Cruise up the magnificent Saguenay fjords before reaching Lac Saint-Jean. Along the way, you’ll come across many small villages like Sainte-Rose-du-Nord, where you can stop to take in the local way of life and the beauty of the surrounding countryside. Stop off at Saguenay, from which the fjords take their name, where you can enjoy a wide range of activities on the riverbanks: canoeing, kayaking, via ferrata, or even the bicycle route.
You’ll spend your first night on the shores of Lac Saint-Jean, in Roberval, not far from the Parc Zoologique Saint Félicien. Then on to Saguenay, a major town in this grandiose landscape.
In the morning, you will continue your trip to Quebec by taking the road to a small village typical of the province: Tadoussac. Here, the village is known for its prime whale-watching location. They are present from mid-May to mid-October. The months of August and September are ideal, as they are more numerous.

We’re off to Quebec City to round off our trip in style! A town that has retained its authentic architecture and human scale. You won’t want to miss the Château Frontenac, perched on Cap Diamant overlooking the St. Lawrence. Much higher up, the 221-metre Observatoire de la Capitale, from which you can observe the city through its bay windows. Here, too, the old town has a charm all of its own, so take a stroll through its narrow streets… For nature lovers, visit Montmorency Falls.
What to see/do :
If your schedule allows it, make a stop at Isle aux Coudres, where you will be welcomed by the “Porpoises”, inhabitants of the island. To discover the history of the “First Nations”, go 20 minutes from Quebec, to the Wendake site. The eco-museum tells the story of the American Indians.
On your way from Quebec City to Montreal, you’ll stop in Trois-Rivières, where a Quebecois lunch awaits you in a sugar shack. A local must!
Once you arrive in Montreal, you can explore ! Settle in for two nights in cosmopolitan Montreal.
What to see/do :
The Ville-Marie Observatory; the entertainment district with a comedy show; a field hockey game at the Centre Belle; a stroll through the Plateau’s French Quarter or near Outremont’s pretty houses; discovering the “Village”, the LGBT community’s colorful neighborhood; shopping at Sainte Catherine; an exhibition at the Musée des Beaux Arts; Central Station and its church; etc…
Enjoy a poutine at “La Banquise”.
