This small town on the shores of the lake of the same name is a popular destination amidst the picturesque peaks of the French Alps. The turquoise waters of its lake seem unreal in this green setting. Annecy has a Venetian atmosphere with its canals, folkloric alleys and houses decorated with geraniums.

What to see / What to do :
Visit the Château de Menthon-Saint-Bernard, said to have inspired Walt Disney to create some of his wonderful classics; lunch at the Auberge du Père Bise, a Michelin 2-star gourmet restaurant but above all a historic landmark.
Road towards the south of the lake, on the way take a detour to the Vessone goat farm to discover the specialties of this mountain pasture.
Arriving in Saint-Jorioz, you’ll settle into a detached chalet, set back a little, overlooking the lake.
Our suggestions: Lunch at the Les Tilleuls restaurant, which serves a daily menu featuring fish caught directly from the lake!
Included: You’ll be invited to take part in a pastry/chocolate-making workshop at a chocolate factory in the Bauges region. This chocolate and ice cream maker works with a local plant grower to develop amazing taste combinations!
The “Balcon des Alpes” awaits you for the day! This resort in the Bauges mountains, 20 minutes from Annecy, offers a wide range of activities in summer and winter. We suggest you leave in the morning to make the most of this vacation day.
Whether you choose to take a short walk or rent a car, once you reach the summit (which rises to around 1,699 meters), you’ll be able to admire the view of the Haute-Savoie mountains: the Annecy side, the Bauges side and the Grand Plateau Nordique.
