Formalités

French nationals do not need a visa for a stay of less than 90 days. You’ll need a passport valid for up to six months after your return date.

However, as Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory, you will also be asked to present the ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization), a document to be filled out online. This formality has been compulsory since September 2010, and applies to all French nationals traveling to the USA for less than 90 days. The application will cost you around 14 USD.
