On the roof of the world…

An ancient, mythical kingdom. Here, spiritual legends and divine beliefs are part of Nepalese daily life. This country, where living goddesses, kings and queens still exist, is also a key passage on the Silk Road.

Caught between the two great powers of China and India, the country cannot allow itself to be influenced. Here, the wisdom of Buddhism and the truthfulness of Hinduism rub shoulders.

Through a maze of loungta (cloth garlands inscribed with mantras) and darchok, you’ll attempt to climb to the heights of the famous roof of the world: the Himalayas.

People come to Nepal as much for the intensity of its landscapes on trek as for the wisdom and warmth that emanate from the hearts of its inhabitants.
