“Burma, a country that’s different from anything you know”. R. Kipling.
This Southeast Asian country, influenced by the surrounding cultures, is nevertheless very different from its neighbors. A mix of Buddhism from India and traditions from Thailand and Laos, but an atmosphere all its own.
Since Aung San Suu Kyi, travel there has become a must. To explore its pagodas, marvel at its stupas, cross its dense jungles and travel up the banks of the Irrawady.
