The “Kingdom of a million elephants”.
A country tormented by war and colonization, Laos is breathing a little easier today, but remains one of the poorest countries in the world. This country on the Indochinese peninsula is a welcoming land, despite its limited resources. We wander through fertile plains, mountainous landscapes and temples. And we stop off in the former royal capital, Luang Prabang.
Laos is also the Mekong, which you can cross peacefully, why not as far as Vietnam.
