Iceland is at GMT (0). In winter, when it’s 12:00 in Paris, it’s 11:00 in Reykjavik; in summer, when it’s 12:00 in Paris, it’s 10:00 in Reykjavik.

No vaccinations are required before leaving. However, it is advisable to keep your vaccinations up to date. As always, it’s important to be protected against diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, polio, hepatitis A and B, measles and, possibly, rabies. Don’t forget to take out a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) when you stay in an E.U. country, so that your health expenses (medical and pharmaceutical care, hospitalization) are covered locally.
