Some words and expressions in the language

In Greenland, the majority of the population speaks Kalaallisut, the country’s official language, and one of the four Inuit languages. Some Greenlanders speak Danish and/or English, but this is still in the minority.

Here is your survival vocabulary in Kalaallisut and Danish:
