Faroe Islands

Where time stands still.

The Faroe Islands are too often forgotten! Adrift in the cold foam of the North Atlantic, these 18 mysterious little puzzle pieces live as much in the modern world as they do with a touch of the ancient.

Colorful cottages and lichen-covered churches draw the eye to these majestic, treeless lands. Small stone paths have not moved over the years, or even through the centuries, and form steep passages through the rolling mountains. But today, even the most inaccessible hamlets are linked by beautiful roads or tunnels. And even when you’re sailing on an old boat through the most beautiful fjords, you won’t lose your phone’s network! It’s all there, so don’t wait any longer!
