Mother-of-pearl reefs and tobacco-scented rainforests
Escape to cuba and discover its miles of beaches, coral reefs, Spanish colonial towns and tropical forests…
Economically poor but culturally rich, this country was hit by the revolution and its leaders, but has succeeded in gradually developing international tourism.
Cuba satisfies all the clichés/stereotypes attributed to it by the films produced there: salsa, cigars, mojitos, music on street corners, colorful cars, dilapidated buildings, street vendors. All the attributes that make this a warm, lively and exciting country.

Some words and expressions in the language
Cuba is on GMT-5 and uses summer time, so there is a 6h00 time difference with France: when it’s 12h00 in Paris, it’s 06h00 in Havana.
Due to the time change differences, the time difference can be 05:00 for a few weeks in March and October.

Vaccines recommended:
Although yellow fever vaccination is not (yet) compulsory for travellers arriving directly from Europe or the USA, it is still strongly recommended. It may also be required on leaving the country, for travelers extending their trip to other countries in South America, Central America and the Caribbean.
Our current insistence on recommending that travellers to Central and South America
(except Uruguay and Chile) and the Caribbean, vaccination against yellow fever is less related to the risk of contracting the disease than to the variability of the administrative risk in the event of itinerant travel from one country to another and from one region to another.
Valid passport, valid for duration of stay, for French nationals.
Your Cuban visa will be provided by your agency.
Attention! Special insurance note:
Health insurance is compulsory for travellers to Cuba. They must be taken out in the country of origin; proof may be required at the airport. However, if for some exceptional reason a traveler is not covered, he or she will be obliged to take out insurance at the airport of arrival in Cuba.
If your trip involves transiting the United States: You will need to be in possession of the ESTA electronic authorization, which costs 14 USD (January 2017 rate), to be paid by credit card at the time of application.
ENTERING THE UNITED STATES. On arrival, immigration officials take a photo of your face and fingerprints. Wait behind the yellow line until you’re invited to cross it – it may take a while…
