Day Bumba Meu Boi is a kind of folk opera. Basically, the story revolves around a wealthy farmer who has a very nice bull. This bull, which not even know how to dance, is stolen by Chico's father, a farmer, his wife to meet Catirina, who is pregnant and feels the urge to eat beef tongue. The farmer sends the cowboys and Indians seeking an ox. Once found, it is sick, and shamans are called to heal.
