Restaurant Le Manoir Inter Scaldes is located in the lands of the province of Zeeland, on the narrowest part of Zuid-Beveland between the Oosterschelde and Westerschelde (known as the Scheldt estuary). Trees and plants adorn the traditional English gardens and create a shady environment. The house dates back to 1927 and was used as a restaurant since 1968. In 1990, the romantic manor was equipped with 12 luxury rooms, each with a personal touch, catering, fine fabrics and antique style. However, disaster struck in 2003 when the restaurant burned. Restaurant revamped fabulously renovated and reopened in all its glory in May 2004. The head Jannis Brevet, who was born in New Zealand and is known for its menu that incorporates the influences of the waters of Zeeland. Oosterschelde lobster, oysters, mussels and all the good things of the campaign, such as lamb in New Zealand, the famous sea fennel and vegetables and, of course, cheese and fruits of the earth's Beveland. His original style of cooking, vision and exceptional combinations of spices, and specialty revenues have been recorded in the book of beautiful Inter Scaldes & Jannis Brevet.
