You’ll discover the many small towns along the coast, with their unrivalled joie de vivre, which have preserved their historical and cultural heritage. This trip is a unique opportunity to recharge your batteries in a peaceful, elegant setting, while exploring a region brimming with surprises and discoveries.
On arrival, pick up your vehicle at Faro airport and drive to Castro Marim, to your accommodation: a sustainable, organic Agriturismo: 40 hectares of pine, cork oak and carob trees, apricots and figs, olive trees and a vegetable garden, in the south-east corner of the Algarve, in a beautiful nature reserve, 1.5 km from Praia Verde beach, 4 km from the historic village of Castro Marim and 6 km from the Ria Formosa nature reserve. The ecosystem, nurtured by vegetables and orchard farming, is evident daily in the meals we serve, with products sourced exclusively from the farm and our region. Without television or background music (but equipped with Wi-Fi), this hotel offers relaxing stays and beautiful walks. The saltwater pool is open all year round, the Hammam with essential oils from Sierra-gum rockrose, lavender or marcela, offers different types of massage, and a room is used for yoga, Tai Chi and Qigong.

Thanks to its privileged location in the Algarve, your hotel offers easy access to the region’s best golf courses. The nearest golf courses (Gramacho and Pinta) are just 500 metres away. Our homes and facilities are ideal for those who like plenty of space and all the amenities needed for an independent stay. Parking is free and all our accommodation is easily accessible. Play on some of Europe’s finest golf courses while enjoying excellent service.
Head east and settle in for 3 nights at this “Vila”, an elegant rural hotel with charming suites set in lush gardens, a fabulous restaurant, 2 swimming pools and a lovely lounge. Just half an hour from Faro, it’s the perfect retreat with beautifully landscaped gardens, tranquil pools to relax in and imaginative interiors to refresh our souls. Its 55 rooms are arranged in different corners, so that it retains a feeling of spaciousness without losing any of its personality. You never feel crowded: this is not a place where you need to carry a deckchair. Inside, their long white bar and reception area are cool and chic. Stroll the shiny, stained concrete floors and relax around the giant central fireplace. Then sit back, sip your cocktail and watch the kitchen team make you something delicious. Films are shown every evening, both indoors and outdoors. From nearby Olhao, picnic on private beaches or explore local markets. Come back for a stroll through the orchards of caroubelles, breathe in the musky scents of rosemary and sleep like a log for pure relaxation!
Last day to enjoy the area or the hotel. Drive to Faro, where you will leave your rental car before catching your return flight.
