Palazzo Margherita, built in 1892 by the family Bernalda Margherita, is a palace of the 19th century. The city was the birthplace and residence of Agostino Coppola, the grandfather of Francis Ford Coppola, who has always affectionately called "Bernalda bella". Francis bought the Palazzo in 2004 with the desire to turn it into a boutique hotel, saying it was time to introduce the visitors to this beautiful area and unknown.
