Visit the temple's original monastery built in 870, which according to tradition, kept the relics of St. Juliana, was transformed into a college in the eleventh century. It has three naves, a dome, a transept, three semicircular apses and tower. The transept and apse arches retain their birthplace. The sculptural decoration of the portal, and the capitals of the cloister is superb. The interior houses the tombs of medieval and Romanesque reliefs. The altar has a silver cladding of the seventeenth century. The altarpiece is a work of a master native of Burgos. The main portal can enjoy a Byzantine Christ Pantocrator and an atrium flanked by two lions.
