Some words and expressions in the language
Continental Portugal and Madeira are at GMT -1, i.e. there is a one-hour time difference with France: when it’s 12:00 in Paris, it’s 11:00 in Lisbon or Funchal.
The Azores are 2 hours behind France: when it’s 12:00 in Paris, it’s 10:00 in Ponta Delgada.

To call Portugal from France, dial + 351 and the number of your correspondent.
To call France from Portugal, dial 00 + 33 + your correspondent’s 9-digit number (without the initial 0).

If you wish to stay in Italy for less than 90 days, you may be exempt from visa requirements. Citizens of the following countries do not require a visa: Citizens of the EU, EEA and Switzerland.
For stays of up to three months, French nationals must be in possession of a valid identity document (national identity card or passport, excluding any other document).
