A country tormented by war and colonization, Laos is breathing a little easier today, but remains one of the poorest countries in the world. This country on the Indochinese peninsula is a welcoming land, despite its limited resources. We wander through fertile plains, mountainous landscapes and temples. And we stop off in the former royal capital, Luang Prabang.
Laos is also the Mekong, which you can cross peacefully, why not as far as Vietnam.

Vaccinations against Japanese encephalitis and rabies may be recommended, depending on travel zones (particularly rural areas).
French nationals need a visa to visit Laos, and the passport must be valid for at least 6 months longer than the stay in Laos.
Travelers must ensure that their passport is stamped with the correct date of entry by the immigration authorities, or risk being fined (at least 200 USD) for illegal residence in Laos.
