Valid passport, valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Botswana for French nationals. In addition, the passport must have two or three blank pages (depending on flights with stopovers), to receive the entry and exit stamps.
For French passports entering or transiting South Africa, only machine-readable (biometric and electronic) or non-machine-readable (optical, “Delphine” type) passports issued after November 24, 2005 are accepted. To help you identify the type of French passport you hold, you can consult the Service Public website http://vosdroits.service-public.fr/particuliers/F11603.xhtml.
Warning! If you are transiting South Africa on your way to Botswana, you must present a passport with a blank page.
No visa required for French nationals. For other nationalities, we’ll be happy to help you with all the formalities.
