A World Heritage site, the Kaziranga National Park is a forest reserve for over a hundred years and is located in the floodplains of the Brahmaputra River, which covers about 430 square kilometers. Hébergant the world's largest population of Indian rhinoceros, Indian elephant and the tiger, Kaziranga offers a varied breathtaking with large meadows, dense tropical forest, interconnection streams and small lakes landscape. The park is also home to 35 other large mammals in their natural environment and more than 400 species of birds, some of which migrate from Siberia. The park is open to the general public from November to April, the dates vary from year to year.
