The Conqueror Hernando de Santa Gadea appears as the first owner of the Hacienda del Buen Suceso. At first, the farm was devoted to the cultivation of sugar cane, which was distributed throughout Europe. Its indirect descendants have rented the property and it was sold to the first Marqués del Buen Suceso in 1781, which adopted the name of the farm. In 1859, the property was divided into two parts: one was purchased by Mr. Alfonso Álvarez Guria and the other by Mr. Bruno González Castellano. The latter's daughter, María del Rosario Fernández González y del Campo, married Ramón Madan, who was received of King Alfonso XIII title Marquesado Arucas. Therefore, he devoted himself to the cultivation of bananas. Each of the 18 rooms have been decorated with charm and original details of its first construction: wooden ceilings sloped attics, canopy beds .... offering a comfortable atmosphere complemented by the special light and mild climate of the Canary Islands. The hotel has a total of 18 rooms including 13 double rooms and 5 junior suites.
