The Joggins Fossil Cliffs are a 689 ha palaeontological site, located along the coast of Nova Scotia (eastern Canada). He was nicknamed the "Galapagos of the Carboniferous" because of the profusion of fossils found there and which date from this geological period (dating from 354 to 290 million years).
