The Qutub Festival of classical music and dance takes place in the month of November to commemorate the historical significance of Qutub Minar. The Festival highlights the greatness of India and its cultural achievements in the various forms of dance and music. In this way, the Qutub Festival is trying to live the monument heritage and provides a platform for the preservation of Indian classical art. Spread over three days, the festival is dedicated to the youth of New Delhi. Visitors can expect to see a traditional dance performance by famous artists, listen to beautiful interpretations of ghazals and qawwalis and will be fascinated by the musicians of sarangi and sitar. The festival attracts many visitors eager to glimpse the rich cultural heritage of India. The Qutub Music Festival is jointly organized by the Delhi Tourism & Transport Development Corporation and Sahitya Kala Parishad Delhi.
